Artist in Residence - 2014

The Friends of Delnor Wiggins Pass State Park named Ann Ponicsan as their resident artist for 2014.

Ann's interest in art began at an early age painting flowers, weeds, and all things natural. After obtaining a degree in art with a major in textile design, she pursued a career in the textile industry for 17 years. During this time, she worked on designs for fabric used on women's wear and home furnishings. Since moving to Naples, Florida, from Pennsylvania in 1994, Ann has enjoyed painting the natural environment. She works primarily in watercolor and enjoys experimenting with mixed media. To complement her interest in nature, she also takes classes in tai chi.
