The Friends of Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park was first organized in 1987 and incorporated under the name the Supporters of Del-Nor Wiggins Park Inc.**.
Our mission, then as now, includes promoting public awareness, use, and enjoyment of the park, and assisting park staff with facility maintenance, resource management, and visitor services. We strive to improve park amenities through fund raising and as a bonus, we learn, up close, about the native environment of our park and other Florida state parks.
** Our business documents continue to use the name Supporters of Del-Nor Wiggins Park Inc.

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is a beloved destination for locals and tourists alike. With its beautiful beach, native vegetation, and abundant wildlife, it is one of the treasures of the Florida coastline. Get involved in protecting this valuable resource by joining the Friends of Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park. We need your talent, skills, and interest so become involved in our organization by:
- Serving on the Board of Directors or various committees.
- Engaging in tasks that include preservation and protection of natural resources and park infrastructure improvements.
- Helping with interpretive activities including displays and programs on the beach and for the public.
- Directing or assisting with fund-raising activities.
- Leading new and exciting social events, authoring or editing communication resources, and meeting/interacting with other members of FL State Parks community service organizations.
