Pass State
Park. Supporting
Environmental
Awareness,
Education,
and Stewardship.
Our
Mission:
-
To
promote
public
awareness,
use,
and enjoyment
of Delnor-Wiggins
Pass
State
Park.

To
assist
park
management
and staff
with
facility
maintenance,
resource
management,
visitor
services,
and recycling.

To
improve
the park
through
fund
raising
events.
-
To
learn
more
about
the natural
environment
of this
barrier
island
and other
parks
managed
by the
Florida
Park
Service.
Our
Accomplishments:
- Managed
an aluminum
recycling
program
to promote
environmental
responsibility,
using funds
earned
to purchase
non-budgeted
amenities
for the
park. People
are encouraged
to contribute
their cans
and other
recyclable
aluminum
to this
program.
- Financed
Sea Turtle
research
initiatives
and educational
programs.
Promote
the park’s
ecosystem
and its
inhabitants
during
resource
management
and school
program
days.
- Annual
sponsor
of Wildlife
and Wildlands
Art Show
and Earth
Day events.
Proceeds
are used
for park
maintenance
and other
facility
support.
- Contributed
funds for
boardwalk
improvements,
grills,
computers,
and ice
machine.
- Participate
in annual
Coastal
Cleanup
efforts.
